CANVAS TRANSFERS

Canvas Transfers are created by transferring the lithographic ink from an original art print and embedding it onto artist canvas. The result is an image that is true to the original print with a lustrous sheen and rich canvas texture

The canvas is stretched onto a wooden support frame - called "stretcher bars" The finished Canvas Transfer can be hung on your wall, right out of the box or, if you prefer, you can later add a decorative frame.

We can also add visual and textural depth to canvas images by applying hand painted brushstrokes using a clear acrylic - further replicating the the look of an original piece of art.

NOTES	In the Standard Wrap the sides are painted a complimentary color to match the artwork or you may choose a color of your preference Because of the size reduction due to wrapping, we do not recommend Gallery Wrap on pieces with an image size less than 20"

HAND EMBELLISHED BRUSHSTROKES	We can also add visual and textural depth to canvas images by applying hand painted brushstrokes using a clear acrylic - further replicating the the look of an original piece of art. POSTER SIZE & IMAGE SIZE	POSTER SIZE is the size of the original paper print including any white space. IMAGE SIZE is the finished size of the canvas transfer before wrapping. In the transfer process, all superfluous white space and borders are eliminated leaving only the image portion to be applied to the canvas.
FRAMING	Canvas Transfers are ready to hang, right out of the box. However, if you wish, you can choose to have the Canvas Transfer framed. Framing is an art in itself and if you intend to display your artwork framed, we recommend that you take your canvas transfer to reputable framer. There are hundreds of framing options to choose from. If you anticipate adding a frame, please order 3/4" stretcher bars. 1 1/2" stretcher bars are NOT suitable for framing. Suggestion: even if you intend to frame your piece, you may want to consider ordering the Standard Wrap on 3/4" bars. With the painted sides you will then have the option of hanging it directly on the wall or later adding a frame.
PRICES	All prices on our site are in $US
SHIPPING COSTS	Shipping fees are $15 per item - shipped to the continental USA. We will only ship UNSTRETCHED canvas to other countries and the shipping fees are: Canada is $20, Europe is $45, and Asia is $60.
DELIVERY TIME	Canvas Transfers are custom made orders, and will normally take between 3 - 4 weeks to produce.
WARRANTY	Unstretched canvas (without brushstrokes) can be returned for a full refund. Stretched canvas items are custom orders and can only be returned in the event of a product defect. All products are unconditionally guaranteed for product workmanship. If there is any defect or damage we will replace the item at no charge to you or you may request a complete refund. All returns must be made in the original packaging within 15 days of receipt.
